« We booked this accommodation as it was close to a venue we were attending. There was lots of on street parking. This is a gorgeous, grand old home. Note, Wilson House sits near a busy street. However, once inside, due to triple glazed windows, you will not hear the street noise at all! Also, be aware, rooms are on the 2nd-4th floor and there is no elevator. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were modern. Breakfast was very good. The owners were a pleasure to talk with. »

« Where to start? With the welcome packet hanging on the door. My husband and I approached the Inn on the afternoon of May 31, 2026. On the door, we found a welcome packet with a page inside directed to "Expedia Guest." A copy of this is attached. In the attached note, Mark introduced himself and then started complaining about Expedia. Beautifully appointed rooms in the main house, with antiques everywhere.
The bathroom shower we had was a little inconvenient and I could see that some folks could struggle getting in and out of the large claw-foot tub. There are no grab bars. It wasn't particularly difficult for us, but could be a trip/fall hazard for others.

« We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef!
Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. We would definitely stay there again.
The Inn also has a great history dating back to the late 18th Century. It is said that George Washington stayed there...
