« We had a fabulous stay at Belle on Buford! Kim was so accommodating and very quick to respond! Our family was up to visit and tour the Gettysburg area. The listing was just as described, but even more room than I had originally thought. Great place to spread out for the family and centrally located in Gettysburg! We highly recommend for anyone staying in the area. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our July 4th weekend stay at the 1840 log cabin in Frederick. The home is a completely renovated and modernized log cabin that was very comfortable to stay in and located in a great location. The home is a short 10-12 minute walk downtown, but in a quiet area that is more relaxed with ample parking, etc... Communication with the host was easy and he was very responsive. « The proximity to Gettysburg was perfect. Everything was within a few minutes drive. It was very comfortable and definitely had the feel of being welcomed into someone's home. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was perfect as we showed up right as a heat wave started. It was also nice being right above a restaurant (and it was really quiet above it, surprisingly). »

Owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome with many snacks/food items and amenities. Especially loved the outdoor courtyard area with fire table. »

« The place was well located to all places we wanted to visit. The only complaint is the traffic. Side of home was no more than 10 ft from major road with tractor trailer buzzing by all thru the the night. The listing mentioned road noise but never imagined being in the middle of it. »

« We very much enjoyed our stay. The grounds are beautiful and the proximity to the canal trail is wonderful. Beds are very comfortable. House is adorable. Kitchen could be better equipped. I bought a few extra coffee cups and left them for the next guests. »

« If we could give more stars we would! We can’t say enough about our stay from being so accommodating to the fresh milk, strawberries, eggs and beautiful bouquet of flowers that were left for us. The property was immaculate. The surroundings and yard are serene, private and post card perfect! We even were lucky enough to have a foal born when we were staying there. We would recommend this property to everyone! »

« The location was perfect for walking just about anywhere we needed to go! Two bedrooms were a plus for me, my husband, and his sister. The half bath downstairs was also appreciated! »

« My husband and I enjoyed our five day stay at the Canal House. We were surrounded by early American décor and felt like we stepped back in time with modern conveniences added. We were cool and comfortable in the midst of a heat wave, the mattress in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.The rocking chairs on the porch were great for morning coffee and conversations.
