The way the property was decorated was very unique. It has three living rooms and a very cool kitchen and dining room. There was no body wash in both bathrooms nor hand soap in one of the bathrooms. Went out and bought them. Also, in the master bedroom, there is a comforter with simply a sheet placed over it. For cleanliness reasons, the sheet should be buttoned or zipped so that we know it is laundered each time.

Graduation family stay

Our family including a toddler stayed at the house and enjoyed our time there. The location is great with lots of walkable option.Do note that this spot is still in an up and coming neighborhood, but we felt safe there with our toddler and family walking in a group. The hosts were communicative and helpful and arranged a free bottle of wine through their local grocery partner. Island provisions down the street was great for coffee and I got my hair done last minute at the hair salon across the street. The decor was beautiful and got our group of 6 comfortably. Bonus was the plethora of hangers available in the closets for hanging clothes. Upstairs was a little on the warm side, which is expected in an older house, but fans and a split unit were provided in the rooms to help with that. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

This home is even more beautiful in person than it is in the photos. The furnishings are exquisite and the decor magazine perfect! The hosts supply everything you could possibly need and responded to all of my questions so quickly. I wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back next year.

Girls trip to Charleston

This property was a gem. We found it charming and a place for us to experience an older updated southern home. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Very convenient location near good restaurants we could easily walk to. The host was very responsive to our questions and we would definitely come back to this property on our next trip to Charleston

So FUN!!!

This property is an excellent location - walking distance to so many things - very safe neighborhood for a group of ladies. The house is very cool - lots of sitting areas - love the outdoor porches for morning coffee and a glass of wine in the afternoon. Excellent beds and linens. Modernized kitchen and bathrooms - plenty of glassware and dishes. Great communication with the host. A local market very close by to get basic essentials for your stay. This was our first visit to Charleston, and it was a fantastic weekend. Excellent food and so much to do! I would definitely recommend this home and would book again!

Convenient and Comfortable

Very comfortable property. It is well maintained and generally clean. Convenient to get to downtown and College of Charleston. The outdoor space was great for relaxing and enjoying warm evenings. Included parking made having a rental car really easy and convenient.

Good Location

Great long weekend in Charleston, SC. Old historic home with plenty of charm and the normal quirks that come with old historic homes. Plenty of room for our group of 6 but would easily accommodate more. Good location. Great coffee shop within walking distance. Off street parking which was great. Comfortable beds and pillows. Three different seating areas so that was cool too.. Overall house was clean, plenty of room, good location. Happy with our stay here.

Weekend trip

Very good location and the house was as described. The only issue with the location is it is extremely loud at night with street noise and college kids coming back from drinking. With an older house the noise just comes right in. Everyone was kept awake until the small hours Friday and Saturday. The kitchen needs a bit of restocking (e.g., there is only one butter knife). But overall very good.

Great getaway to Charleston!

We stayed for three nights and had plenty of space in this Charming house. We were working remotely in two separate parts of the house without any noise. The location is also nice for those wanting to get some steps in during the day. King Street shopping and restaurants are only 10 minutes way. Chubbies fish restaurant is only a few blocks away. The space is large enough for 2-3 couples. We will definitely be back again in future. Very clean with all the necessary accommodations you expect.

Historic with modern updates

I had a wonderful stay. The house has a lot of character with modern updates where needed including a modern kitchen. The house was in a good location. We were able to walk anywhere downtown. It was nice to have a driveway and not street parking although I would say there is room for one SUV or two very small cars. Overall, a great experience.

Charleston Getaway

The house was amazing and beautifully decorated. It was fun walking through the house and discovering each room.There is allot of construction currently going on in this neighborhood and there is quite a bit of street noise, but this house is still a great place to stay and would highly recommend it.We were able to walk pretty much anywhere in the downtown area.
