The Pimrose House was just as advertised. It was very comfortable, clean, and updated. Both the hosts and stayduvet team were very responsive and helpful, which was very much appreciated. The location was also great, as you are a very short walk from King Street, so you don't have drive to hit all of the restaurants and shops that Charleston is famous for. Having off-street parking was also very much appreciated, as those streets are very narrow. We also enjoyed the neighborhood and took everyone else's advice and went to Holey City Bagels (a few blocks away). This place was fantastic and we had breakfast there every day (except Tuesday - they were closed). I recommend the veggie delight. A hidden gem that we found (especially if you like small, quaint and fish/fish sandwiches) is Virginia's on King Street. The ONLY drawback to this location is the noise from the bar directly behind the property. They seem to lack any awareness that they operate in a residential neighborhood. We were there Sunday through Thursday, and it was loud every night until the wee hours of the morning. If you are a light sleeper, you will definitely need ear plugs or a very loud noise machine. It's a shame, because everything else about this property and location is fantastic. The bar owners and staff could use a lesson in respectfulness and awareness, that's for sure.Enjoy your visit. We sure did (other than the bar next door).
