« Michelle was an excellent host. She was very friendly and talked to us each day we were there. Just so you know, this is a cabin. There is no running water or toilet. There is a shower house and port a john. Both were very clean and we really enjoyed the cabin itself. There is a nice porch, a covered porch and plenty of room for two adults and two kids (it was just us when we stayed. There is a ton of open space to hike and wander, like 100 acres worth. Pro tip- you need to bring your own...

« Stayed here for a hiking trip among friends, the amenities worked perfectly and the kitchen was fully stocked even with spices and oils. Quiet spot about half an hour from the visitor center of Hocking Hills state park, but its a very simple drive and we didn’t mind at all. There is a house next door that is pretty proximal to the cabin, so it isn’t entirely secluded, we were worried about disrupting neighbors when we were outside. « The house was gorgeous! We did have a little issue when making bacon and had a bit of a time to get the code to get the alarm off. Then they showed up to cut the grass. It was loud for about two hours. The guy on the mower was cursing loudly when he had issues with the mower. I would suggest a handrail to go to the basement. The games outside and inside were so much fun! Would stay again. Such a peaceful place. »
