« I booked a suite with one queen bed. We were given a standard room - no explanation as to why. We didn't discover this until we entered the room we were assigned. We had been charged for a much more expensive room. I went back down to the desk and was told that all suites were booked. I showed the desk clerk that i booked a suite and was told to wait 5 minutes while she checked "something". She came back and told me she had a room for us but the toilet needed to be fixed before we could move in....

« The staff was friendly and the place was quiet. However, the hotel, the Halls, the stairs, the rooms, the kitchen were filthy. When I checked in on Thursday my room smelled a little funny, but not too bad. Friday morning I killed a cockroach in the bathroom. Oh well, you know things happen. By Saturday and Sunday I had killed five cockroaches in my room. When I went down for breakfast on Sunday morning I saw cockroaches on the walls of the dining room. I can't believe that this got an eight...

« Upon arrival for check in we were informed of a water heater issue and that we could not check in. We had to purchase another hotel room on a weekend that all rooms were almost sold out in town and had to spend more than planned. We still haven’t received the refund for a room we never got to stay in. »
