« Enjoyed every minute. The river-facing windows and deck allowed us to experience the view all day and night. Don’t be fooled by the charming vintage exterior because the amenities are all in excellent condition. The mattresses are among the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The bathroom is luxurious with the jacuzzi being everything you could ask for. Close to spectacular hiking trails and scenery. Highly recommend! »

« Even better than the pictures. The cabin is an 1850s cabin that was reassembled on the property. It was adorable. Had everything we needed. The area is beautiful. There are several cabins and tree houses on the property but each has more than enough privacy from the next. We came with our two young daughters and they had a blast. We had a resident kitty that hung out on our porch, and it was the friendliest cat I’ve ever met! Kids were in love and had so much fun playing with the cat all...

« Very unique and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Beautiful room. Difficultly sleeping due to lots of neighborhood dogs barking throughout the night, but we did have our windows open. »

« Very clean, decorated perfectly to be relaxing. The house had everything you needed for a perfect weekend getaway. I loved all the small touches to make us feel at home like extra blankets to curl up on the couch at night. Coffee bar was wonderfully stocked and couldn’t have asked for a better stay! »

« We so enjoyed the quiet and country atmosphere! We were very surprised at the extra effort this home has to make it comfortable for our stay. And everywhere we looked the home had lovely furnishings! With all the windows, we got to watch the birds! Also, don’t forget the neat hikes close by! »

« The home was perfect for the four of us (two couples) The home was as described and well stocked with towels, beddings, dishes and kitchen supplies. The deck and patio were perfect to relax on after a day of hiking in the Shawnee National Forest. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. »

« We usually explore a city every year for our anniversary. This year, on our 12th year anniversary, we decided that we wanted to go somewhere where we could be alone and surrounded by nature. This was the absolute perfect getaway for us and we plan to come back with the kids! »

« We had a wonderful stay at this charming house in a lovely small river town! It was the perfect spot for “home base” for our family reunion held in Karbers Ridge — plenty of space, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed exploring the area, walking to grab an ice cream, look at the river and a short drive away for delicious meals at Strickland Seafood in Paducah, and a lunch at Patti’s 1880’s, and we also had some fun at Harrah’s in Metropolis. This home made a perfect base for making family...

« We had a great time this weekend hiking around and coming back to the cabin and building a fire. The TV worked great for when we were going to bed at night. The kitchen had what we needed to cook a fine meal. I would definitely book again in the future. »

« Our beds were cheap, thin, and uncomfortable. The piece of metal stripping between the carpet and kitchen floor was bent up and not safe if someone stepped or tripped on it. We put the trash can on top of it. The door lining was off some. Incredible view! »

« Very happy with our stay. We have stayed here 2 years in a row now for Thanksgiving. Host is very accommodating and friendly. The house is perfect for my family. Looking forward to staying here again next year. »

« While the house was further out from Paducah than we would have like, it was just as described. There was plenty of room for four quilters and their equipment The kitchen is amazing. We spent afternoons on the back porch with our wine and listening to the birds. Owners were responsive to our questions and needs. »
