„Direkt bei einen Lastwagen-Gross-Parkplatz. Daher die ganze Nacht auch Verkehr. Dafür dort aber auch ein gutes Speiseangebot, so dass man nicht mehr in die Stadt fahren musste. Für mich ideal, da es nur als Durchgangs-Motel gedacht war. “

„Der Zustand der Zimmerausstattung ist noch gut. Rings um das Hotel sind einige Restaurantketten und Aldi. Insgesamt liegt es aber in einem eher industriell genutzten Bereich von Mount Airy. “

„Late arrival Saturday evening: After the first look in the assigned two rooms we complained the cleanliness and we got other roomes, which were a little bit cleaner. But not clean as we expected. After a long discussion with the owner were both rooms cleaned a little bit better. During the week the cleanliness was never fully satisfied.“

„Die Zimmer sind angemessen und es gab einen Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle. Zum Frühstück kann man sich selbst frische Waffeln machen. Der Pool war okay. Hotel wie beschrieben. Nur WLAN war auf den Zimmern nicht nutzbar. “

„I was in town for a short amount of time on the way to a further destination. I had a friendly person check me in. I had a clean room with a comfortable bed and a good thermostat. I had a clean shower. Nothing else matters while I'm traveling.“

„We had an outstanding time. The owners greeted us outside to welcome us in. Very nice people. Our room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and clean. We loved the charm and history of the home. Coffee and breakfast was delicious. Great place to stay, beats a hotel by a mile. We can’t wait to go back!!!“

„Such a wonderful, relaxing, and beautiful location. We drove up from Florida for a wedding near Pilot Mountain, and we're so glad we chose "A Mighty Oak" for our stay. Todd kindly offered to take us for a mini tour of the farm to see the cows, chickens and pigs. Our daughter fell in love with "Heart" (the special cow with a unique marking on her face; you'll just have to visit them to see where her name comes from). Our morning walks were fun and refreshing, as we enjoyed the slightly cooler ...

„Absolutely beautiful space! Very clean and a lot of attention to detail. Entrance is on back side of building right in downtown—one you are inside the space you would never know it was in downtown. Super quiet and lively space. Host was also very nice and responsive.very close to pilot mountain state park. Highly recommend. “
