„Just by walking the place and look at it I refuse to stay in there. I walk away and I went to get a different place.“

„Good Room, precooled by AC as I came. Very nice checkin, they let my motorcycle stand under the pagola. Good breakfast!“

„The property is rundown. Need to update rooms and do lots of cleaning/maintenance outside. But hey - it's an authentic Rt. 66 motel!“

„Tucked away between the woods and the river, Jack's Cabin is the perfect getaway spot. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The river and Fagen's Outdoor Adventure is only a mile down the road. Being able to have our dog with us was a huge plus for us. We will definitely book here again. Thank you for this amazing opportunity!!!“

„Great lake to go swimming and kayaking in, had our 1st time here at the primitive cabin and want to go back again!“

„Great stay“

„Place was clean and as described. Plus always love the river.“

„Workers are very friendly. Unfortunately the room itself was disappointing.Beds came unmade, not an issue. However, the sheets provided do not fit the bed.Photo of the bathroom in the listing is not the actual bathroom of the cabin. Shower was small and stained. Bathroom fan did not work. Drop ceiling in the bathroom was warped and falling.Room had significant staining on the ceiling. No deadbolt on the main door, only relying on the hotel style keycard lock. Overall. It was a place to stay. ...

„Cute cozy cottage“

„I loved everything about the lake, activities, and the cabin I stayed at. My only suggestions would be to have curtains in the big windows in the front. The super bright lights from the other cabins shine right through the entire cabin. No way to hang a blanket to cover the front windows. Also, I had to use blankets to cover up the 2 exit signs above both doors that lit up the inside. It's a super small area inside and felt the light up exits only a few feet across from each other was too much, ...

„This place is a gem! Country setting, but only a few minutes from shops and restaurants. New and extremely well stocked. Perfect for a couple looking to get away. Host is super responsive and accommodating! Will definitely be back.“

„We had such a wonderful four days at the cabin. Our neighborhood goes crazy on the Fourth of July. This was a great escape for us - some fireworks nearby but much more manageable for us. It’s off a gravel drive with very friendly neighbors. Our pups all loved to run the land and hang out on the wraparound porch. The property is as described and was perfect for our small group. My husband and I took our dogs on a great hike to Hughes Mountain in nearby Leadville. We would stay here again. “

„Perfect spot for a weekend getaway.“
