« Our stay was a journey down memory lane for me. The hotel was still lovely and popular, the room was clean and albeit small as a twin, it was in keeping with such a historic building and the lady on the bar, who checked us in couldnât be more welcoming. The kitchen even catered amazingly for a veggie and a vegan option breakfast.
The hotel is centrally located for the beautiful village of Eyamâs history trail, tea rooms and local walks with good parking facilities. »

« This is such a lovely hotel - we so enjoyed our stay
The place is very relaxing to be in - staff super friendly and food excellent
The house is 17th century but very comfortable and well equiped
Plus very good value - even gave us complementary drinks plus packed lunches

« Room was adequate, the heated towel rail was on the other side of the bedroom wall so the bedroom was uncomfortably hot, even at night - but the wife preferred this. The bed was quite firm and a good size. It was difficult to view the TV screen from the settee on the back wall. Tea (Yorkshire) and coffees were plentiful - not so much biscuits. Full English, plus cereals, juice, toast and tea/coffee refills welcome. »

« Dog friendly and in good location. Very handy for one night stopover and would use again. Room could do with a bit of deep cleaning/ maintenence in some places, particularly mould around bathroom window frame. »
