„Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Im Zimmer waren die Dusche und das Bett das einzig Positive. Bett war sauber... die Dusche lief einwandfrei. Das Zimmer selbst könnte mal renoviert werden. Teppich voller Flecken, vieles abgestossen an Wänden und Möbel (Wenn vorhanden) Duschvorhang mit Schimmel... “

„We had a lovely 3 night stay at Beamish Park Hotel, it was perfect for our visit as we wanted to visit Durham and Beamish Museum.A lovely room with a very comfortable bed,good parking outside our room.We both really enjoyed the breakfasts, which had a great choice of cereals, fruit, yogurt, full English, porridge, eggs and toast.Staff were friendly and helpful.“

„The manager Anna couldn’t have been nicer. She greeted us with a cup of tea and biscuits and allowed us to check-in early and was very helpful with suggestions of things to do in the city. Rooms were comfortable and quiet and included on-site free parking. Location just a short walk into the centre. Breakfast also very good with lots of options. “

„While a 10-15 minute walk from downtown, the scenery and location were gorgeous and quaint. The staff, the room, the breakfast, and the stay were just what we were looking for. We took the train to Durham, dropped our packs off at the inn, and spent the rest of the day walking around town and along the river. “

We used the pub for our evening meal on both nights - there is no other option nearby for dinner without a short drive. Bar food was cooked really well. The bar itself was functional but lacking a bit of character. “

„The property was seeped in history. We stayed in room 3, the Kings room.
