« On the first night, we had a fire alarm at 3 a.m. It took the night auditor 30 minutes to turn it off. No complimentary gesture or apology was offered.
The hotel is outdated for a 4-star property. The bathroom silicone is moldy, the carpet is stained and needs a deep clean, and the room was very dusty.
The reception staff were not helpful, the phone was not working in a room so hard to get the reception.. and when the shower temperature kept going from very hot to very cold.
Coffee and tea were...

« Disappointed that the additional cost for the spa and gym facilities was so well hidden on the website that i had to pay an additional £14 per person to use them whilst we were there.
The hot tub isn't surrounded with marble, like the photos suggest.
when asking how to use the steam room, as was informed..... it's dodgy so you'll need to use the sauna instead. one is better for breathing (steam room), and the sauna is better for sweating out. As someone with asthma, the steam room would have...

« Loved the building along with the fitness suite. Staff very helpful. Good range of breakfasts. Walking distance to restaurants etc... Would happily stay there again. Who said its grim up north ! The people are lovely ! »
