« The property is close to town and has a great view. However, it is in desperate need of a complete remodel. We stayed in an oceanfront king. The bed is actually a queen The room reeked of cleaning chemicals to the point of making your eyes water. There was barely a trickle of luke warm water in the shower. The cable went out and never came back on, the light on the balcony didn't work, the coffee machine was clogged and blew hot coffee throughout the room, and the hair dryer actually blew up...

« Everyone we encountered were pleasant and helpful. The food was great. As a senior, this facility was very remote when touring the island and driving on the left side of the road was challenging at times. Also, the elevator doesn't work so getting to the other levels was challenging. Julie, the manager went out of her way to accommodate us. »

« The property was getting ready to close its doors on 5/26/2026 so the property was not very inviting. Some staff members were rude. Rooms had a moldy smell. Bar was closed. Grounds were not well kept. Restaurant was still open & the food was excellent. The views were spectacular. Nice resort in its prime but not now. Marriot sure dropped the ball at Carrambola.đŸ˜© »
