Downstate New York : les meilleurs cottages

Un quartier résidentiel avec des maisons, une allée et un plan d’eau en arrière-plan.

1. À deux pas de la plage | Cottage Seabreeze #3

Hampton Bays

« The property needs a major cleaning and repairs. The floors were sticky, and the carpet was dirty. Furniture was dirty and soiled. There was dried food on the utensils. The pipes groaned at all hours, several times an hour. The bed creaked with every movement. Bedroom blinds were broken and wouldn’t close all the way. The bedside lamp on the wall was falling off. The last straw was the huge spider that jumped down from the closet onto me. We ended up leaving after less than 24 hours and...

« Everything about this stay was wonderful, Sandy and John were lovely hosts, the grounds and location absolutely beautiful and a "labor of love" clearly. Our pup was totally welcomed and we equally enjoyed being on the property on the screened in porch or outside grilling and visiting the area, neighboring towns and the vineyards. For a family of four this is great, or also a few groups of friends renting the cottages also would be nice. Thank you to Sandy and John and we will look forward to...

« It was a clean, small farmhouse a few miles from the Mohegan Sun Casino. It had a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom, so everything we needed. It also had a nicely equipped kitchen although we didn't use it. The best part was when we got up in the morning the owners were outside tending to their farm animals (sheep, goats, chickens, roosters, and pigs) and were as gracious as could be, showing us around the farm and then left us on our own to hang with the animals! A great time with great...

« Nice place for a couple days to take a break from the city. The bottle of wine with plenty of chocolate treats were a pleasant welcoming gift. The queen size bed was comfortable, and the AC kept the place nice and cool. The winding staircase leading to the bedroom though was a bit of a challenging surprise--especially if you needed to visit the bathroom on the ground floor during the night. It was also very pleasant to have morning breakfast on the porch. The only downsize to that was the...

« Robin is an excellent host, very accessible and responsive. A lovely person who loves her flowers. The cottage is adorable, perfectly appointed, exceptionally clean and pet friendly. The gardens and yard are lovely and very well cared for. Summer color filled garden beds and vegetable garden make this a bird and bee paradise and the water feature in the patio is very tranquil. Conveniently located to town and many pet friendly destinations including a dog park you the road, the perfect place to...
