« Secluded property on the edge of town. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the house or a 30 minute walk into Grindelwald. Kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of comforts of home make this a beautiful and welcome retreat. There are a lot of steps to gain access to the property so keep that in mind for all members of your party. »

« No one in my family wanted to leave this house when our vacation was over. This fascinating, beautifully appointed old home was filled with charm, comfort & interest. From the lovely outdoor patio to the clawfoot bathtub, we completely enjoyed every aspect. The entrance from the narrow cobblestone alleyway added to its charm. Parking was a convenient short distance and a small grocer with essentials was around the corner. I wish I could stay there all summer. »

The home is on the Grindelwald side of the river, a short walk from "Terminal" (for train connections, and gondola to Kleine Scheidegg), and with a bus stop literally out the front door (with connections to the center of Grindelwald). « The apartment was immaculate. It was nicer than the photos show. The family was delightful, although they didn't speak much English. The view from the patio was absolutely gorgeous. The one thing to keep in mind is the hours the bus runs (we had to pay for a taxi since we missed the bus going back). And it is a long uphill walk with lug suitcases. »

« We enjoyed our stay at this property! The unit was cozy, clean, & well furnished - it had lovely warm home vibes & breathtaking views of the Eiger just out on the front patio. The unit is conveniently located near Grindelwald Terminal (train station & Eiger Express) & a 1-2 minute walk to local bus routes 21 & 23 to get you to the heart of town, so it's very accessible if you're traveling on public transportation systems. It's just far enough from the busy City center, but very easy to get to...

« The chalet is very comfortable. It is located on a quiet street away from the mobs in the central village. Ursula, the owner, was a superb host and gave us a good orientation on Grindelwald area. The highlight of our stay were the views of Eiger and Jungfrau from the balcony! We highly recommend. »

It was away from the "main" street of downtown Grindewald which provided a quiet neighborhood without all the hustle and bustle. The property owner was quick to respond with a couple of needs we had. "Sejour au top la responsable est a l ecoute, et a fait un decor remarquable dans son établissement jai adore le style ! Endroit au calme sur les hauteurs de Grindelwald dans une ambiance chalet superbe, la vue est a couper le souffle sur la montagne Eiger ou le village de Grindelwald, le petit déjeuner est copieux et tres bon, sinon le repas du soir etait super bon rien à redire, la literie est de grande qualité et il y a un salon commun en bas qui m a impressionné de par sa conception, ca a ete cree avec gout et passion, ca se ressent ! Le personnel est aimable et vous vous sentirez comme chez vous, je vous conseille vivement cet établissement mon sejour y a ete fort agreable ! Bravo A l hotel Aspin ! "
