Found this place by accident. Nice hike to the lake with little waterfalls along the way. Once to the lake, look closely in the water near the shore and you might see some newts!

„The host was so welcoming! She left us chocolates, a small bottle of champagne, and a binder filled with information about the home and the town. Also, any question we sent her, she immediately got back to us. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed...an abundance of paper towels, toilet paper, blankets, towels. „We were utterly charmed and pleased with our stay at the Sacandaga Lake House, and loved every minute we were there. We skied at Lapland Nordic Ski Center every day, a 30 minute easy drive north up Rt. 30, and looked forward to our return to the house to enjoy the amazing hot tub and great fireplace. „Excellent host! Let them know we would be arriving late-had a small issue with the pin entry(user error!) and they were immediately able to assist! Apartment was extremely clean and cozy. Beds were very comfortable and place was set up with everything we needed for our quick stay. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Hoping to stay at this place again during upcoming multi day stay for upcoming surgery at St Peter’s Hospital in January-Thank you for the hospitality!“

„We had a wonderful stay at this property and will rent again when in the area. The owners were very responsive and great to work with. The apt was beautiful and immaculate. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only area that was perfect was the outside stairs to the front door— uneven, steep, etc. We had older guest with us and this was concerning. But we managed.
