« Brand new. Extremely quiet neighborhood. Naps were long and refreshing. Beach access at the end of the street with no one setting up within 50 feet of you. Also beaches within 5 minute drives in either direction. Again, felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Jen was an immediate return message away,although, we had no need because everything's brand new. « Very nice house and we loved the beach. It’s also in proximity to Pea Island nature reserve and the federal beach accesses for the Hatteras sea shore. »

« It's wonderful. Not crowded and the layout is good. Super comfortable beds and everything is clean and it has a well-stocked kitchen. It was great to have the outside porch and the screened in porch. Nice trees and birds chirping galore! It is so close to the beach on a lovely quiet street, yet very close to restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again. »

« Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property. We had read reviews noting the living room furniture and the mattress quality; however, we found that both features were comfortable. We did noticed that the floors were very dirty upon our arrival. For example, when in the living, we found clumps of blonde hair on the floor (my husband and I have dark brown/black hair). « This was an awesome place to stay in the quiet outer banks area of Rodanthe. Kitchen was well stocked, bathroom had plenty of towels, and we appreciated the free small gifts the host bestowed upon us! Would definitely stay again! Thank you! »

« This was a last minute trip for us. At first, it was easy to book and the availability was nice since they did not require a one week stay and we were literally fitting this trip in between two events. The house was everything that we expected and need. Unfortunately we didn’t get beach time with Hurricane Debby but we still had much needed relaxation. »

« We loved our stay at Findlandia. Short walk to the beach. The owner Ken was very attentive and reached out multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed. Excellent communication. The house is very well-appointed and clean. They had new appliances and several conveniences (paper products, towels, and linens; not to mention the wonderful outdoor shower with awesome water temp and pressure. « A wonderful little spot for our family to spend a long weekend. Location right on the sound is beautiful. We had one really great sunset. The decks appear to be brand new and were great for hanging out in the evenings. The whole place was in great shape. We're itching to book it again! »
