„For a quick stay in Ames it's perfect. I was concerned initially because of the ratings, but gave it a chance anyway. The staff I came in contact with were welcoming and helpful! The front desk gentleman was very attentive and friendly! There was a lady that worked the breakfast stations (I didn't catch her name) she was absolutely wonderful, personable and sweet. The rooms were very simple (not fancy), but clean (and I look at everything!!!) As a single female traveler I felt very safe there. ...

„Beds were very comfortable. Front desk attendant was nice and courteous. Aside from that, pretty unremarkable. Bathroom was not very clean and sink that is located in the room and not in the actual bathroom appeared old and weathered. Enough so that we avioded drinking the water from the faucet and used water bottles. It's a good place to stay if all you need is a bed. Being that it was a college football weekend, the prices were inflated, of course, because I would never pay that amount ...

„I really enjoyed my stay! This was my first time in Ankeny, IA. My room was very clean and smelled so nice! I looked forward to walking into the room every time I went out. Breakfast was fine for me and had adequate options. The breakfast room was clean and well organized. There was a football game on the TV in the lobby and I had fun watching with the friendly female receptionist who was a fan of one of the teams. I will definitely plan to stay here on future trips if the price remains ...

„I like that the property had both a pool and a hot tub although I didn't end up using the pool. I also like the gym even though it was small no one else was in there at any point that I used it and they had plenty of equipment for me to use. All of the staff were polite and friendly. The hotel smelled clean and free the mildew smell that a lot of hotels end up getting in them over time. The only exception to this was in the gym area but I suspect this is due to the gym being right next to the ...
