„This was a hard one because the images look fantastic on Expedia. That however is where it ends. From the moment we stepped foot in the building you could feel a level of moisture in the atmosphere. I'm not sure if the water park was an after thought but everything just felt not dry. The main area had huge fans running nonstop to circulate the humidity and every metal surface had a hint of rust on it. Both in the hallways and in the room. „The prioperty was exactly as described. Very spacious, clean and a great value for the price. The location was excellent as we needed to be in downtown Des Moines. The only negative at all was the sketchy feel to the neighborhood. The Bodega next to the property entrance always had a number of people milling around day and night, and there was a Police presence there several times which made us wonder. We had no problems personally. “
