„A very satisfied stay at the Hawksmoor Guest House. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing and cooked from scratch. Our room was available earlier than stated and was very clean and comfortable. The location was great too, just a 15 minute walk to the town and Lake Windermere. We would highly recommend a stay here!! The Hollands!! “

The lodge itself is beautiful and in very good conditions. Rooms are spacious and clean. Located near to multiple points of interest. “

„2 days well spent at this lovely homely property! Located in a great place with easy parking. Richard is a right bloke, would loved to have stayed up talking to him at the bar but after walking the local fells went to relax in the brilliant room. The hosts put their heart & soul into making everything perfect. We would certainly return. “

„Hotel changed my room to a lodge due to health reasons as a last minute. Couldnt have been any more greatful. The views and grounds were stunning. The staff where great and attentive. Cleaner added extra coffee and milk for 2nd night which was also a great and tidied the room to a high standard. Room was dated, however this added to the overall experience of peace and tranquilitiy which is what i was looking for. ****Highly recommend this hotel and will be visiting again ***“

„Ein eher älteres Bed and Breakfast Hotel mit winziger Dusche und WC einige Treppenstufen tiefer als das Zimmer. Zimmer sehr gemütlich und nett eingerichtet. Sogar eine Bettheizung ist vorhanden. “

„This is my 2nd time staying at the Station Lodge. You can't beat the price, the location and both times I've stayed I had nice large rooms. It's literally across the street from the train station, and as this is the last stop on the train you literally don't hear any sounds from the train. AND the trailhead for the Orett trail is also literally across the street. This trail spiders out to many other trails. There are a ton of restaurants, shops, pubs and the awesome grocery store with a cafe ...
