« Overall the cabin was clean, comfortable, was well stocked with anything needed, and nice view. Getting a quick response on having a charcoal grill, not gas, allowed purchase of coal and starter before coming into the cabin. We did have some difficulty with water pressure, which made it difficult to flush the toilet at times. We also would have benefited from having instructions on using the TV with three different remotes. Instructions sent on getting into the cabin by road was also...

« We really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly what we wanted! We felt isolated from the world but had enough to do around us that kept us thoroughly entertained. The hot tub wasn’t one of those run down ones, it was nice, fancy, and worked like a charm. The grill needed cleaning but that’s usually the case with most rental grills. It also came with all ware so we didn’t need to bring anything except charcoal, light fluid, and firewood/kindling for the fire. »

« This cabin is nestled above the New River and has an amazing view. Soaking in the hot tub, enjoying the natural beauty of the area was a bonus. Cabin was functional with all needed amenities. Bedding and bathrooms were clean. Recommendation- leaf blower to clear acorns off the deck. I would rent this property again. Communication with Brian was great and he was very responsive to a few questions I had. »

« The location was convenient and the property was the perfect size for us. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck and listening to the stream. It was quiet and peaceful. The cabin design and antique furniture are lovely. The linens were clean and of good quality. There were some nice touches such as the homemade jam and english muffins. « We had a nice stay at this lovely cabin - it had a fantastic view from the back deck of the mountains! The rocking chairs on the deck were very much enjoyed. The kitchen was fully appointed: one of the best that we have experienced. We very much enjoyed the outdoor seating area; along with the cooler mountain weather. Susan was great to work with, especially when we had a little plumbing issue. We really appreciated your prompt response. »

« we really liked the privacy of the cabin we only saw 1 person our entire time at the property we also liked the overall appearance of the cabin I also enjoyed the firepit the only negative was the power was out all day and night in banner elk so we lost our dinner reservation for Saturday night but you can't control mother nature »
