It was like staying at a hotel and camping/glamming at the same time. They will even do your dishes and charge the battery as needed. Highly recommend this spot as it is easy to get around to many sites and attractions. »

« Dion and Rod are great hosts! They're very attentive and quick to help with any questions we had. They even gave us produce from their garden. They helped with getting the kids set out on kayaks, we were able to buy overflowing wheelbarrows full of good campfire wood, outside games were provided for us, we were able to use their dryer when our tent decided to let the rain soak our daughters duffle bag full of clothes, and they showed us how to manage the ac. « My friends and I came away very pleased with our no-frills wilderness camping on Rod's property. He has the best view of the Huron Mtns I've seen, with a better perspective on the south faces than Pt Abbaye. They really lit up in the sun with peak color all over. We also loved his sweet dog Max, who quickly pivoted from intimidating bark at strangers to "dare you to try to take my stick" playfulness in seconds.I would go back in a heartbeat, but I did take off 1 star for listing accuracy only...
