« We had an amazing time at the lake house and loved every second of the nature views! We spent most of our days out on the water boating and catching fish, then ended the nights with a big bonfire on the lawn. The kitchen was fully stocked which made it so easy to cook for everyone, and we even took a quick 10-minute drive to see the nearby waterfall. « House was extremely drafty - window air conditioning units still in the windows and not adequately insulated for colder temperatures. In addition, there was an odor that permeated the house which made things uncomfortable. The listing mentioned games in the game room - game room was a large empty space with no games. When the WiFi was down it was impossible to access the on line guide to the place. »

« Unfortunately, it seemed that the property had not been accessed for a while. The screen door to the porch was jammed and couldn't be opened to get to the front door. Winter supplies were propped against it. The shed had multiple broken window panels and the side door padlock was also inaccessible and I could see broken blinds. The host company doesn't have after hours support so there was no option to access the house. »

« We loved out stay! Would absolutely stay again. There is a little (under 5 min) walk to the tiny house itself on some rough terrain but it’s worth it for the seclusion. « This was a nice, clean property with everything I required for a trip with my son. It was very quiet and the only neighbor we saw was a little rabbit who visited every morning.The owner seemed very kind and understanding, which is always a blessing.The area itself offers no real public access to Highland Lake but there are plenty of other areas to explore nearby.
