The Colt provided for a great getaway location in Muncie. The location was situated in a quiet neighborhood perfect for peace and quiet while not running about town. Within 100 feet from the door is a brilliant little coffee shop with some light food options and great coffee drinks to start the day. I started every morning with a (very short) walk for coffee. Also of note and within walking distance is a 24 hour gas station for quick access to any late night needs. The Colt is also within short driving distance of one of the busiest streets in Muncie for shopping and restaurants which just added to it's value. Checking in was extremely quick and easy. The host was kind and prompt in any and all communications. The Colt was clean, comfy, and provided all the amenities one could hope for. The full laundry was wonderful, the bedroom, living room, and kitchen satisfied all other needs. It may seem small, but we really appreciated having "real" dishes to use in the kitchen. Heavy, ceramic, sturdy dishes are a really nice touch to make the stay feel that much more welcoming and something both my partner and I both noted. Also provided are waters in the fridge and a variety of small snacks as well as coffee options. My partner and I have stayed at The Colts "brother" location, The Cardinal, multiple times in Muncie and always have had a good time. Much like The Cardinal, The Colt didn't disappoint. I would highly recommend this location for your next stay in Muncie.
