North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This home is ideally located within close proximity to numerous New Orleans landmarks including Jackson Square (1.5 Miles), Caesars Superdome/Smoothie King Center (0.9 Miles), The National WWII Museum (2.8 Miles), and the famous Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 (3.0 Miles).

Mid-City has a rhythm that sets it apart from everywhere else in New Orleans - second-line parades rolling down oak-lined streets, the Canal Streetcar rumbling past two blocks away, the scent of chicory coffee drifting from corner cafés. This bungalow drops you right into it, a bright and welcoming home base for everything the city has to offer.

Living space
Natural light fills the living area throughout the day, creating an easy, unhurried atmosphere. Sink into the sofa for a movie night on the 43" HDTV with Netflix, or retreat to the dedicated workspace - set in a private room with a door - to handle emails between outings. Central air conditioning, central heating, and ceiling fans keep the temperature comfortable no matter the season.

Sleeping arrangements
Two bedrooms offer a restful place to recharge, each dressed in soft linens with extra pillows and blankets on hand. Closets and dressers in each room keep clothing well organized. The full bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, shower, bidet, and hot water, with complimentary toiletries provided including shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is well equipped for real cooking - a Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, and toaster are all at your disposal. Cooking basics, pots and pans, dishes, and silverware are included. Pull up a chair at the dining table and enjoy a meal in without any fuss.

Outdoor living
A private balcony is the perfect spot for your morning coffee as the neighborhood stirs to life. The lush, fenced yard offers a peaceful place to unwind after a full day of exploring - and it's a natural fit for guests traveling with pets.

Laundry & essentials
An in-unit washer and dryer mean you can pack lighter and stay longer. Hangers, an iron, cleaning products, fresh towels, and bed linens are all provided. Cleaning is also available during your stay if needed.

Family-friendly features
Traveling with little ones? A crib (mini, 38" x 24", sheets provided), pack 'n play/travel crib (sheets provided), folding high chair with padding, straps, and food tray, and baby safety gates are all available upon request.

Two blocks from the Canal Streetcar, you're within walking distance of the Lafitte Greenway, neighborhood cafés, and live music. The French Quarter, City Park, and the Superdome are just minutes away. Winter visitors are ideally placed for NOLA ChristmasFest, New Year's Eve fireworks, the Allstate Sugar Bowl, Twelfth Night, Krewe du Vieux, and Mardi Gras Day - with the Endymion parade rolling right through the neighborhood.

Free parking is available on the premises and on the street. Self check-in is straightforward via smart lock, and exterior security cameras are in place for added peace of mind.
