« We spent about 3 hours trying to get the TV and sound to work and finally did with the owner’s help. We're not tech challenged. This should have been checked and set up prior to our arrival.This VRBO is about 150 yards from the tracks of a very busy railroad making it hard to get a good night's sleep. « Basic accommodation, very friendly owners on site. There were ants in the bathroom and we were warned that they ha seen evidence of a mouse. We did not see that. »

« We had a great stay here recently. It was clean and well furnished (including little things like night lights, binoculars, etc.). It was peaceful to sit and watch the river flow by while looking for eagles and pelicans. We appreciated the fenced in yard for our dog. « We absolutely loved our stay. The farm house was very cozy and clean. The silo has an awesome view of the river. There is also a path that leads to stairs straight to the river, it was like we had our own private beach. We caught 2 catfish and 1 carp. We stayed during 4th of July weekend and we could see fireworks in the distance from about every direction. I would recommend and would definitely stay again! »

« Great property, ideal for our trip back to Rockford for a memorial service. Loved sitting out in the mornings with a cup of tea in the spacious backyard. Everything was just as described and checking in was a breeze. The location was ideal, close to numerous restaurants and grocery stores.( highly recommend Giordano’s!) I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we return to Rockford in the future. »

« Very cute decor, loved the home feeling. We enjoyed our stay and it was nice and quiet. We did have some ants walking around in the kitchen and bathroom but it’s springtime and that happens. Lovely place, we plan to seek out the location the next time we are in town. »

« A very nice condo. Beautiful views and very quiet. I feel like the water pressure could have been better in the upstairs bathroom. The couch in the living room is great if you want to climb in and get cozy, but it would have been nice to have a regular couch that you could just sit on. As someone with mobility and back issues it was hard to always have to climb into the couch and not to have a good regular comfortable space to sit on. « We appreciated the amenities. We knew it was a pet friendly home, but were disappointed that it was obvious of the pets who stayed there. There was dog poop in the driveway and a definite scent of pets. »
