« Nice stay »

« It was a very nice place to stay, excellent food, lively bar and clean and comfortable room. There was no welcome gift as promised by Hotels.com and there was a bit of a mix up in that although I had already paid the hotel insisted I pay again, the £300 was refunded during my stay as it was the hotels mistake. »

« Stayed for one night, the bar area was really busy when I arrived at around 1845hrs. Booking in was straightforward and the room was comfortable with an en-suite. The locals in the bar were very welcoming and friendly. I had a full breakfast, which was excellent, the staff were also very friendly. If you are looking for somewhere to stay, the location is an excellent base for touring the area, and the price of rooms are good value. »

« Pub was great, food was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room, Senna Cove was very comfortable, shower fantastic and bed really comfy. The photo on the website is possibly a wee bit out of date. Pub really welcomes dogs, ours was very well catered for and loved his sausages for breakfast. Pub would benefit from having a bin for used poo bags. There are none around. Overall a great experience and we would definitely return »

« We had a lovely stay at the property, the staff were so friendly and check in was easy. The room its self was clean, bed was comfy and the shower pressure was amazing. We had our dinner at the pub which was delish and then our breakfast in the morning was amazing as well. Amazing stay would definitely reccomend »

« We received a warm welcome on a cold winter's day and throughout our stay Wayne and his staff were attentive and ever-pleasant. The real ale and outstanding cooking were real features and breakfast and dinner each night were much enjoyed. »

« The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was made with fresh produce,the portions were of an adequate size and it was very tasty. The room was well equipped, the only criticism would be a full length mirror in the room would be benificial and you could not fit your legs beneath the dressing table as the chair was too high. In the en-suite the toilet seat was loose and some discolouration of of the plastic seal at the bottom of the glass shower screen. The carpets in the accommodation...

« All the staff at the Anglers Arms were lovely, they couldn’t do enough for you. All the food we had (3 breakfasts &. 1 dinner) was very good. The hotel is in need of some modernisation but we know that Joanne and the team are working on this, given a little time they will get everything right but in the meantime it is still a good place to stay and excellent value. »
