« We stayed in lodge 5, which was a small drive to the main area. Property was clean, open, great for 2 couples. The cabin was amongst the horses. Fully functioning kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and BBQ on the porch which is a must. »

It was a perfect place to relax and spend time together. Your home is so comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. The setting is divine, amongst lush rainforest and tall gums with a stream running past. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would love to return! »

« A beautiful, peaceful place to rest and re-energise. There's a great selection of DVDS, CDs and games. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is modern and spacious, and the kitchen has most things that you'll need (an extra frypan would be helpful). It's a bit of a drive to get to places, but it's pleasant, scenic, and well worth being out of the hubbub. Wayne and Michelle are friendly and helpful and respond to messages instantly.We are already looking at dates to stay again! »

« Cabin was in the heart of Pokolbin so only a short drive to many wineries but also on the secluded side so we woke to kangaroos in the paddock out front every morning which was delightful. The cabin itself is a little dated and in need of some maintenance - living room light flickers often and the oven didn’t work although the stove top and grill did. But for a dog-friendly property it was good! »

« what a relaxing stay in the cozy quirky cottage. Peter kept us well stocked with firewood to keep the pot belly stove hot all weekend. So many beautiful trees and birds. Plus the sound of the lyrebirds as promised. »

« The property was superb. Spacious, classy, well appointed. The hosts have not missed a beat. Everything you could want was provided, & was superior quality, even down to the shampoo & conditioner! The kitchen far surpassed any expectations with stylish crockery & cutlery & all the gadgets associated with a luxury getaway! Complimentary wifi with access to Netflix, Stan, You Tube, etc etc. The location was ideal. Close to shops, beaches, restaurants etc literally, yet metaphorically it felt...

« Mist in the Gums is the most peaceful place and quite beautiful. Carol is an excellent host and very friendly. The cabin was so clean and had everything you would need. I would thoroughly recommend Mist in the Gums to anyone. please keep in mind it is quite a way from Lake Macquarie. »
