« Charming location that allowed exploring the lake district without a car. Frequent buses at the stop nearby. Loved the old stone walls with the slate floors. We have an old house with narrow stairs, so they felt like home. (Hang onto the railing). We arrived in a downpour, and had some trouble locating #14 (overgrown). Thank goodness for SPAR at the gas station for hot coffee and food basics. Go hiking out the back, up the field, around the sheep for some incredible views »

« Lovely homely cottage. Everything we needed bbq, car parking very comfy bed.Mosedale perfect for walking straight from the cottage. Did not use the car throughtout our stay. Need to be organised with food n drink as there are no shops locally.Pub 30 mins walk away on very quiet road. Very relaxing break lovely sunny garden. Had the most perfect 5 days »

« Beautiful cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Great location as it’s a short drive to most popular Lake District attractions. Stunning scenery and spacious cottage make for a relaxing getaway. Kev welcomed us when we arrived and recommended places to visit including the local pub for pizza which was lovely! 100% recommend this cottage for anybody looking to visit the Lake District. The hot tub was a luxurious bonus which helped us relax after a long day of hiking. »

"Personnel vraiment trÚs accueillant. Chambre de belles dimensions pour le prix avec petit dej énorme inclus et parking gratuit. Grande salle de bains (toilettes dans la sdb). Lits un peu mous mais ça va. TrÚs belle terrasse sur le lac. En revanche le resto est cher et la brasserie bruyante. Il vaut mieux diner dehors. "
