« The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain. »

« single bedrooms bathroom the toilet seat is missing 2 feet on base of seat therefore seat is sliding when you sit down. shower in main bedroom not working properly when it gets up to temperature water dribbles out. other than these 2 problems everything else is faultless »

« Marldon village is a lovely quiet area which is easily accessible to Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. Daisy cottage was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. »

« The ability to get to restaurants etc in the harbour was poor as very long way down and steep climb up. No smart TVs no Spotify on Alexa and the request to leave apartment clean was unacceptable as would have better service from a hotel and the price paid was high end and expectations were not met. »

« Despite the complex instructions to find the cottage, it was fairly easy. (A quick look beforehand on Google Street View helped!) Found it best to park the car first in the Freshwater car park as you exit the harbour up the hill. This is a long stay car park costing approx. (August 2024) £10 for 24hrs. It's worth buying a permit for the week as it is valid in other car parks in the whole of Torbay too for when you trip out. It's an easy flat walk from here (and you may get a glimpse of seals...

« Very clean property ideally suited you can walk to Tescos you have a pub which is not noisy across the road and they do good food Beds were comfortable and you have a parking space at the rear . You 2 minutes from all trade pick ups toolstation,screw fix topps tiles . We used it as we had it for a month doing a 4 week job 15 minutes away . Heating was excellent wi fi excellent also . Most important Greggs and Starbucks next to each other 2 min drive »
