Stayed here for 2 nights after a cruise.
Highs: 3 bedrooms allowed 3 generations to get a good night's sleep. Beds were comfortable, but we did end up remaking the bed because the top sheet was oddly folded in half like a taco - we took the covers off, unfolded the top sheet so that it fully covered the mattress and remade the bed. Owner was very prompt at responding to all comments and questions. By car, the apartment is about 12 minutes to the airport and about 20 minutes to the beach. Also, Costco is about 8 minutes - we filled up the rental car there before returning it. Except for the mold, the rest of the apartment was very clean.
Lows: I let the owner know that in the bathroom, the towel bar looked broken and was missing the bar and that there was about a 1.5 ft. square of the ceiling above the shower that was covered in what looked like black mold. The owner replied that the previous guest had broken the bar and they had a plumber coming to repair the shower ceiling. There was also what looked like spots of black mold on the back bedroom ceiling (it has the old popcorn texture) and the window air conditioning unit had black spots on the vent fins. I recommended that the unit be inspected.
As others have mentioned, you need a car go to shops or restaurants.
