Decent place for the money. It was close to most of the things that we wanted to do. And it was technically clean. The owner even worked with us when WE messed up our booking.
So my issues are a little nit picky but it’s stuff that I would have liked to have known before staying…
First off, it’s an old apartment with REALLY creaky floors, we have 3 young kids and there was NO sneaking around the house after bedtime.
It was technically clean as in sterilized but there were old soaps and shampoos in the bathroom with what looked like other things that guests left under the sink… So just kinda cluttered and also l’m not gonna use someone’s left over hair rubber bands or toothbrush so I thought that was a tad gross.
As far as the neighborhood, it seemed ok, but I was actually offered weed out in the front yard and there was a box by the back door with pepper spray in it so that’s cool. Also the parking on the street was ok but hit or miss as to whether you could actually park in front of the apartment or not.
The couches in the living room were TERRIBLE, like they were completely broken and sagging in the middle.
As much as they tried their best to have no smoking in there (there were signs everywhere) the place still smelled like cigarette smoke & Fabreeze.
There was also a VERY active 2yr old upstairs that would thump across the ceiling until about 9:30p or 10p at night.
All in all, it wasn’t the worst. It got the job done for only $99 per night. However, with our young family and early bedtimes, we would not stay there again…
