The home is dog friendly so obviously we expected other dogs have stayed there; however, it did not appear that the dog hair from previous guests was vaccumed. « We spent the New Years holiday at Salty Bear cabin and had a lovely stay. While the cabin is charmingly rustic, it was not lacking in modern comforts. The heating worked well. Kitchen was well-appointed. Beds were cozy. Shower pressure was strong. Hot tub was perfect. « We had the pleasure of staying at the Cozy Cub Cabin in South Lake Tahoe. The cabin is perfectly situated in a cabin community with about 15 other cabins. We visited in mid-September and found the area to be very quiet.The cabin had everything you need, kitchen essentials and bath essentials. The cabin is charming and rustic. « Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids.
