„This stay was nothing short of perfect, in large part due to Melba and her family were incredible hosts. My husband and I drove up from TN for a family reunion, and loved having a place to stay all to ourselves. The location was great--only about 20 minutes to where we needed to go in any direction. „The cabin was all that I could have wished for. Clean, inviting, and yes! Very cozy. Less than a mile from the state park & plenty of places nearby to visit. We opted to stay in the downstairs “master suite”, the first floor full size bed was simply too soft for us. Loved the back porch with gas grill & fire pit. Spent lots of quality time there. TV reception iffy in the evenings but not an issue for us.“

„The cabin was very nice. The only trouble we experienced was when we arrived at about 345. We had absolutely no cell service no phone service. Nothing to get us into the house fortunately, the girl that does the cleaning stop by and was able to get us into the house and she contacted her mother who came down and after that everything was fine we enjoyed our visit.“

„Great little cabin for a quick getaway. Clean and well stocked. Probably one of the most comfortable beds that we’ve had with rentals. Overall it’s a really cute well appointed cabin. „What an amazing stay! The house was super comfy and so cute. So quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect getaway from hustle and bustle. We swam in the lake both at the house and also at Gaston day area. Ate at Suka sushi and it was fantastic! The owner was extremely responsive and checked on us at arrival. The owner also recommended some antique store and I got some sweet finds. Definitely a stay again kind of place!“
