« Our room was extremely run down. I requested we be moved to another room and that one was only slightly better. For the amount we paid, I expected somewhere I would feel comfortable staying. Unfortunately, it felt gross and dirty. It actually made me feel like a bad mom because I was letting my son stay somewhere so dirty. Extremely disappointing and not a great start to our vacation. Silver lining was it was only one night. »

« Bed was a bit stiff ' bathroom door to in the room was to close to the toliet cant sit down without hitting your knee on the door when closing the door. Back of the hotel near sitting bench shows signs of neglect with missing a trash can. »

The security was my biggest concern. After checking in, I was told to enter through the back of building as that was closest to my assigned room. « While there was a pool it needed to be clean and the path to get there is old and needs updates. The staff was nice and friendly. The Internet was horrible. »

« All the facilities are extremely outdated and need significant updating. The online pictures were not representative of the quality of the rooms and in my opinion misleading. I experienced rotes wood on door and windows, stained tub, blocked and rusted out walkways, poorly maintained parking lots and overall outdated conditions. I would not recommend a stay at this facility. »

« The absolute worst. If I could give negative stars I would. We showed up and the place looked like it was about to be condemned. Then, we checked the room out and it was so damp and musty we refused it. Kindly, we were offered another room which was just as bad. We refused it as my wife has terrible allergies to mold and the like. We explained this to the property manager and he refused any sort of refund. « The location of the Lake House Inn was great for visiting my husband's brother and his girlfriend. The room was attractively decorated, the beds reasonably comfortable, and the room reasonably clean (baseboards and walls are due a good wipe-down, though). TP dispenser was MUCH too far from the toilet and there was a faceplate for a control to a nonexistent heat lamp that hung loose from the wall.
