I really wanted to like this rental! I saw all the other positive reviews from folks who rented it previously and thought the property would be amazing. Unfortunately, when I checked into the property, there was some damage to a couple of the walls (a hole from a doorknob in the kitchen and a moon shaped cut/puncture in the bathroom) and one of the refrigerator doors was broken and required moving the broken part back to its original place so that the door would close every time I opened the door. The refrigerator also leaked overnight for some reason. Also each of the chairs for the dining room table had multiple stains all over the fabric. In defense of the hosts, they offered to send a technician out to look at the refrigerator for both the door and the leak. I’m someone who doesn’t particularly enjoy having folks come into a rental while I’m not there so I told the host it wasn’t necessary to send a tech out for the door and the leak had seemed to to stop after I wiped up the water on the ground and inside the refrigerator. The hosts were communicative during my stay so that was appreciated. I just wish the property was in better working order and that the damage to the walls had been repaired prior to my arrival. I also would’ve appreciated some chair covers for the heavily stained dining chairs. Other than the issues listed above, the property was really cute and affordable and located in a great area for sightseeing around Redwood National Park.
