Further away from Smithsonian area than advertised.
Those living on the left side are constantly partaking in weed and watching TV all night. Smithsonian museums are over 38 minutes away when walking. The 70-in television is positioned directly in front of the sun coming in through the window; which is covered with sheer curtains and no way to fully block out the Sun leading to a bad midday experience. The bathtub was rather dirty and there were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher that smelled awful. And the chef knives are very dull. That said, the house was well furnished. And the dishwasher and washer worked well once cleaned. The neighborhood felt safe. And the garage door, though only accessible from the inside and does not have a clicker, it does make the unit feel safer and gave me ease when I left my car parked overnight. Overall it was better than a low end hotel; but a far cry from a home away from home.
This property was a good value for the location, condition, and size. There are very few two bedroom rowhouses in this price range, and I felt like it was a bargain. The upstairs bathroom was particularly nice.
