« The place was great, very clean, everything it said it would have. No issues getting in. Only complaint is that the door into the main place from the hallway is shared and paper thin. It sits about a half an inch off the floor so lights, voices, everything filters in from the hallway. That being said, there weren't a lot of times that people went in and out, so in the end it doesn't affect you much. »

« We had a bit of a hiccup on our arrival. We contacted host whom replied quickly and solved the problem immediately. We loved our stay near Lake Okareka. We travelled into Rotarua to enjoy hot springs and mud baths. Go to Redwood Butchery in Rotarua - delicious lamb cutlets and scotch fillet!!! The bath was delightful on the deck - we are used to starry skies but this was the most stars ive ever seen. Enjoyed listening to the birds, watching the night sky - shooting stars and moving satellite...

« The studio apartment was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The gift of wine and snacks was really thoughtful and the breakfast cereal was much appreciated. Our host was easy to communicate with and the outside garden was lovely to sit in. I did have concerns around the height of the shower over the bath, so I practiced getting in and out (fully clothed to make sure it was doable) and it was fine- just make sure the rubber backed mat is on the floor and not the other one that slides on...

« Our experience with Victoria's place was disappointing. The property was not clean when we checked in, which was especially frustrating after a long flight and a tiring Hobbiton tour. Instead of enjoying a refreshing shower and dinner as planned, we had to change our plans and head straight out for dinner. Although Victoria did apologize and allowed us late check out (that we didn't needed), it didn’t alleviate the inconvenience and discomfort we endured.The towels provided were unpleasantly...

« We rolled up a little early on Christmas Eve and just loved the spot with the sun rolling in. As well as Christmas and birthday to attend it was nice to also visit the Polynesian Pools, Government Gardens and walk near the lake all within easy walking distance. Definitely recommend it. »

« Lovely place to stay enjoying our long easter weekend. Thank you Bob for all your help and advise regarding our vehicle. Unfortunately it rained the whole time so we didnt get to walk the beautiful grounds. Highly recommend to all. Definitely would like to stay again. »

« We had a wonderful time sitting outside watching the birds, People, fishermen and dogs. Such a beautiful location with a walkway around the lake that you could easier walk to the small downtown. Grocery, drugstore, restaurants were within walking distance. Everyone was friendly. The kitchen was stocked for breakfast and had everything you would need to cook. It was great to be able to wash your clothes and put the drying rack outside. Close to so many things that it was the perfect place...
