« Beautiful property in great location. Car rental highly suggested as few taxis and could get very expensive. Top floor large bedroom needs mirror and air conditioning on top floor large bedroom is not sufficient unless used with fan. »

« The pictures of this property look great but when you see it in person you will be blown away. The amount of thought and detail that have been put into it is impressive. It is your own private oasis but also close to the walled city of Lucca. Enrico was so helpful, he gave us amazing recommendations for local restaurants and Florence. We really enjoyed staying here to celebrate our anniversary and would love to stay again in the future! »

« We did the research and felt Lucca would be an ideal location for relaxation and day journeying e.g. Cinque Terra. I booked the Villa Secret Escape so that family from Europe, New Zealand and USA could meet in Tuscany. There were 10 of us and we immensely enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space, grand sized family room, dining room, 5 bedrooms and great character. There were also excellent outdoor facilities and a very modern pool. « Although the villa is next to the train line, it is very convenient to access Lucca and the train station. High standard of property. A welcome pack would be a nice touch, including extra bottled water, bottle of wine, cheese, bread, etc. I feel the cleaning fee was very high for a 2 bedroom property, I would suggest incorporating it into the price of the villa, rather than showing it separately. »

« We have been lucky to stay at Danilo’s apartment for 4 nights on our honeymoon. The property is very romantic and comfortable. The jacuzzi is also a fantastic treat to relax! We walked every day along the amazing aqueduct in both directions. We really recommend a beautiful restaurant nearby called Micheloni, a 25 minute walk. In Lucca the walk along the city wall is also a must. Our favourite cafe to sit and people watch with a vino bianco is Bar S.Michele! Danilo, his wife and daughter are...
