„Impossible to beat the proximity to Volcanos NP. The price point is fantastic relative to similar properties. The rooms were clean and well stocked with anything you might need. Welcome treat was a great touch. The property itself was cool and definitely decorated in a unique, cool manner. But what made this place excellent were the hosts, Joy and John, who clearly want your stay to be great. And ours was.“

He helped get us settled in and showed us around the cabin. The cabin comes stocked with breakfast items, coffee, and fresh fruits! It is located close to Volcanos National Park, so it was perfect for my husband and I since we love hiking! The cabin was spotless and the bed was very comfortable! „Die Villa liegt in einer ruhigeren Gegend etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums von Hilo und bietet eine tolle Sicht über die Stadt. Die Rainbow Falls und weitere Stationen am Wailuku River sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Das Gebäude ist schon etwas älter und das Zimmer sieht genau so aus, wie man es in einer älteren Villa erwarten würde, wobei die verschiedenen Zimmer wohl sehr unterschiedlich sind.“

„If you are a backcountry camper, this is for you! The hut is situated in primitive setting of rain forest. You can imagine a big tent but in wood sitting in the woods. I like the nature surrounding and the art deco. However, lack of electricity and a modern bathroom is a big downside. The host is friendly, responsive, and helpful. However, descriptions of the property and instructions to the property aren't sufficiently clear.“

„The house was a roomy older house, conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown Hilo. Overall, the house was terrific. The only drawback was the shower stall and showerhead. The shower flow was insufficient. A hand-held shower head would be better!“
