The Space:
La Costal is a gorgeous, recently remodeled studio apartment located in ESJ Towers on Isla Verde Beach—one of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico and arguably the best urban beach in the Caribbean. From La Costal you and your guests will be staying right on a 1.5 mile-long beach and will be within walking distance to endless options for dining and nightlife. The apartment is located 5 minutes from Luis Muñoz Marin Airport. You’ll love the ocean, city, and rainforest views from this apartment, just to name a few. Recently renovated kitchenette and bathroom with sound proof windows.
The property comfortably sleeps 4 adults in 2 queen size beds.

LIVING AREAS
Enter the studio and you are greeted with beautiful open space overlooking the stunning beach and ocean. All white modern decor along with beautiful palm leaves decals throughout the studio gives it a pop with personality and unique style. The studio features a perfectly designed kitchenette and brand-new furnishings. It also has a 43" inch flat-screen TV, a comfortable velvet armchair to let you sit in modern comfort and a desk/drawer if you wish to squeeze in some work. The balcony has a sitting area where you you can enjoy the stunning view and trade winds.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The studio has 2 queen beds with epic views of Isla Verde Beach. There is also a brand new private full bathroom with a rain shower head and beautiful finishes. A functional drawer to store clothes that easily converts to a working station. Both beds are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):
We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
La Costal has a brand new European sleek style kitchenette with quartz countertops, subway tiles and stunning overall look. Features a mini oven and stove, full fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
GETTING AROUND & PARKING
We recommend moving around via Uber if staying within the general Isla Verde and San Juan area.
If you decide to rent a car, the apartment does not have an assigned parking space. However, you may park one (1) vehicle at any parking spot labeled as a Guest Parking.
LOCATION
La Costal is located on Isla Verde Beach, Puerto Rico. This is arguably the best urban beach in the Caribbean. The beach is 1.5 miles long and the Isla Verde strip has a long list of dining and nightlife options. The apartment is 5 minutes from the airport and has car rentals, supermarkets, a Walgreens, and multiple hotels and Casinos all within walking distance. There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:
Chill at the beach! It is one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico and a must-do if you are staying at La Costal. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and coolers for a long day at the beach.
Lunch or dinner at La Placita de Santurce; a local market with 20+ restaurants and awesome nightlife. We love Santaella restaurant; a local cuisine with a modern approach located in La Placita.
Shop at The Mall of San Juan. This brand new mall is a 10-minute drive from the apartment and has excellent shops and dining options.
Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 30-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.
Spend a day in Old San Juan. La Costal is a 15 min drive away from the oldest city in all of the US. There is a lot of history to be seen and great food and drinks to savor.

STARTER AMENITIES
At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.
All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 4 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.
Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.

Staying at La Costal
The place was exactly as advertised. It was a nice studio with two queen beds, a clean apartment, a beautiful view of the beach on the left and the airport on the right, access to the beach, and free parking. This place is close to restaurants, casinos (if you like them), and a supermarket. The people who work at ESJ Towers are friendly and helpful. My husband and I would stay here again.

Excelent stay in Isla Verde
My stay at this apartment was delightful. The ocean views were breathtaking, and the decor was stylish, with the building’s foyer being very elegant. With six elevators and parking included, getting around was easy. There were plenty of towels provided, including beach towels, which was a thoughtful touch. The pool was being rebuilt during my stay, but the proximity to the calm waters of Isla Verde Beach more than made up for it. The building's private, guarded entrance to the beach was a major highlight. Overall, an excellent experience!"

The property was nice and family friendly. We had a nice suite on the top floor/penthouse. We and a nice, modern style clean room with 2 Queen beds. Good spacious full kitchen area with great cabinet space that contained all on your beach and vacation needs. Bathroom had a spacious stand up shower and we even had our own private balcony. We had private access to the beach. The property was 5 minutes from the air port which was convenient for us. Many restaurants and shopping centers are in the area. It is a general tourist area. Communication with the host Neysha was amazing as well. I received clear instructions upon arrival a checkout. Woul stay here again.

The apartment is Located in an area you can navigate to any part of PR by bus or Uber. I was sad there was no pool access due to construction. My beach access key fob did not work so we could not access beach once security was gone. The building also lost power on our second day for 12 hr that was a horrible hot night. Did notice the curtains had what looked like black mold on them as well. Staff was nice and the host did respond to me fast when I reached out. This place is definitely for those of you on a budget and want to have beach access but not care to be in a fancy resort as it is an older building.

Beautiful room to stay in
Pros: This was a beautiful room to stay in. There were 3 of us total, and it worked out perfectly. You can see the ocean and the beach, and restaurants are in walking distance. It was also a short drive from the airport. Communication with the host was great as well. Cons: Not enough toilet paper. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, and between 3 women, the 2 rolls of toilet paper were not enough. Also, parking the first night was a disaster. We flew in after midnight. The instructions given for parking were not in sync with the instructions given by the valet workers, so we had to wake up around 6 to move the car to prevent towing. The first night was just a lot. Overall, I would stay there again, and I do recommend this location to anyone visiting with a small group. The unit was clean, great views, and the host was amazing with communication.

The apartment has an incredible view of the ocean. We stayed in the PH and it was amazing! I just spent a little bit of time looking fir La Costal when the building name is ESJ Towers...I would let the renters know about that.

Beautiful location . Air conditioner was loud at night . Beach chairs need to be replaced .

Liked the room. Looks just like the photo, nice views, access to the beach is less than a walk through doors, friendly staff at location, and easy parking. Only have two complaints which is wish the room was swept because there was sand and the room felt super humid. Overall, it was really nice.

Amazing location
Place was brand new, very easy to find. Host was amazing and always one text away. My only recommendation is making the first closet a closet for clothing, by adding the shelf and a few hangers. Overall place was amazing
