« It's a beautiful old house and nicely located within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking in the back. The staff are great - friendly and helpful. My only complaint was with the shower controls! After fiddling with them for quite some time, I finally managed to get water at a reasonable temperature to flow from the shower head rather than in the tub, but even now I don't think I could repeat the process. »

« Clean and comfy. We stayed in a family room. Some discrepancies between what we booked on Expedia and what was sent through to the hotel, but was sorted by email and phone call in advance. Warm welcome and THE most amazing dairy free, gluten free complimentary brownies I've ever tasted. The room was lovely and just what we needed for a one night stop to break up a longer journey. Only slight issue was the noise from something the other side of the bedroom wall (some sort of low level...

« My second time staying here. Checked in easy enough with the accommodation across the road at the lodge. The room had nice décor although the bathroom looked a little tired. I used the onsite gym facilities which did not have a lot of people in and allowed me to use the work stations and benches when I wanted to. The shower was good, the bed very comfy and breakfast across at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. A lovely place to stay. »

« Good hotel, perfect location for Durdle Door. We were eating out, so didn't try the breakfast / dinner options. Parking is easy and they help you get it cheaply. »

« Logistically superb - lots of walks, beach, at low tide you can go rock pooling etc. Bus stop right outside - which when the weather isn't great is a useful option to get around. There are small bus routes that loop certain areas - and you get a running commentary so worth jumping on. Hotel is fabulous - views are amazing, food is delicious, and good value, room were exceptional (you must like the sound of the sea) and the staff are kind, informative and go above and beyond. »
