« Lovely, cosy cottage in an ideal location for the railway station, beaches and shops. »

« Beautiful cottage in the middle of Cornwall surrounded by beautiful countryside. Everything you could possibly need to be comfortable. Car absolutely essential to get to many of the places one would like to visit in that part of Cornwall, e.g. the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Padstow, etc. Narrow lanes to drive to get anywhere but in September, not much traffic on the road, so it was okay. Food access - supermarket or restaurants not close, so plan well. Great place for a few...

« La maison correspondait tout à fait à nos attentes. La vue est magnifique et le lieu très calme. La maison n'est pas facile à trouver car perdue en pleine campagne au bord d'une petite route sans nom. Un plan ou des indications détaillées nous auraient bien aidés. Le propriétaire est charmant. »

« Fantastic house in an excellent location, great views, excellent pub nearby and lots of fun to be had on the beach. We had a lovely time and would thoroughly recommend to anyone. »

« back of settee collapsed when autistc son on it, i repaired it, but it needs repair it is dangerous. I told sykes NO response very poor. Also implied is 2 minutes walk from beach is 8 minute drive at least. »

« Lovely cottage but there was an issue with slugs in the kitchen every night on the kitchen worktops. There were problems with drainage in the bathroom and kitchen. »

« We had a wonderful time. The cottage is lovely and ideally situated. We were able to potter about to our hearts’ content and St Ives has so much to offer. Our host answered our queries quickly and fully. Check in was easy. Well appointed with everything we needed. Thank you for a lovely place to stay. »

« The house, location & facilities are top notch. Well furnished, comfy beds, clean & spacious. The grounds are immaculate & pretty. The garden is not enclosed, just one to note if traveling with a dog, also dogs must be on lead at all times - not that this proved an issue with our pup. »

« A beautiful barn conversion in a gorgeous countryside setting. Very homely and cosy. I can’t fault it! Lovely owners, very friendly and welcoming. The garden area was lovely and you could see the farm animals. The secure field opposite the barn was brilliant and perfect for the pooches. The coastal walk on the doorstep of the barn was great and had amazing views. The sunset there was surreal. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be visiting again! »

« We loved Carbis Bay best - the best beach. Very steep exciting walk to the beach or you can drive. Great local eateries, parking included and great base. Would love to return. »

« The Old Piggeries is a charming place to stay on a nicely landscaped site. Very quiet and friendly park with good amenities. Penzance centre, beach, supermarkets, and petrol stations all within easy driving distance. Good value and property is well-equipped and nicely furnished. Cornish cream tea is a lovely and delicious touch. »

« The place was cheap, but I would say bad value for money for a number of reasons, outlined belowBad - black mould on bedroom curtains- Black mould in the bathroom- Loose wooden planks in the bathroom- Lots of Cobwebs in every room and in the cupboards, even immediately after checking in- Cabinet in bathroom was loose- Not enough toilet roll- No salt and pepper in the salt and pepper shakers- No bar or shop on site, despite this being advertised- No member of staff seen on site- Very poor...
