« This was our second time this year staying at this beautiful, warm, welcoming, and quiet home attending Hilo events, as we live in Kona. We returned because we love it so much and it accommodates my family and elderly mother. Love the AC in each room and lots of seating in the living, dining rooms and on the balcony. The host is super responsive and accommodating. Hope to return again soon! »

« We recently returned from spending a week at this wonderful property. It is within a 5-minute drive to downtown Hilo with its many restaurants and shops. The home is situated at the end of a dead-end street and is very quiet. The home is older but very charming and offers all of the amenities of a newer property. The kitchen was nicely stocked with all you could need. The lanai was wonderful and gave amazing birds eye views of the ocean. However, the table and chairs shown in the photo is no...

The family was very f friendly and accommodating. We loved sitting on the deck taking in the spectacular views. The lodge was masterly built by the owners. « We were there during the worst storm in years - pouring rain every day. Plus post volcano eruption dangers. None the less, this was a great house to stay in. Lots of room to spread out. House well appointed. Lovely ocean view and surf sound. »
