« The room was clean, staff was great. Seemed to be a shortage in parking, as we struggled to find a spot if we came in after dinner. The indoor pool was COLD, the room it was in was COLD. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the 24/7 coffee in the lobby. We got in in the evening and was woken up at 4:25 for a tornado. Not the hotel's fault but I think it would have been something to let us know the procedure. We're from the south and we get tornados but aren't able to do anything about them so...

« The only good thing about this place was the location. This was nothing like the pictures shown or the reviews. Our room was not really clean. We even found a sock in the bed. It says there’s a reclining chair but there wasn’t. Beds are hard. We were uncomfortable the whole time and checked out first thing in the morning. I don’t recommend it. »

« great bathroom facility even is the soap/ shampoo provided is watered down. Just a heads up, the bathroom isn't the only thing that is on a hill. Some of the fire pits are down steep hills (not the easiest thing for my aged mother) The small pond had peddle boats for use so that was fun! All around wonderful, slightly-rustic stay. »

« Place was a dump. My room looked like it had been previously broken into. The deadbolt was one that was added on & was difficult to work. The floors were filthy, with hair & dirt everywhere. I didn't ever touch the floor with my bare feet. »

« This road side very old motel in our opinion was not at all as advertised. And for Expeidia to have it listed is not acceptable. After deciding to not stay I've been charged $103.05 fee I would not have spent 2 nights there if they paid us! This needs to be resolved »

« It was a great first camping trip for the kids. The safari tent was well-heated, included all items we needed and had the perfect decor to make our stay welcoming. Some drawbacks were the mattress (needs a new, updated mattress so you don't roll into the middle), the close proximity to the interstate (the traffic noise at night was loud for us) and the EMF towers that were at the entrance of the campsite. We were disappointed that several light bulbs were out and we didn’t have adequate lighting. The batteries in 2 out 3 of the remote controls did not work.
