« Room is fancy, but third floor with old narrow steep stairs... lots of details inappropriate for a room of that price : Wall Paint old and damaged, washbasin does not evacuate, WC flush not powerful enough, shower joints old and dirty, night table lamps do not work. Positive : Friendly Pub downstairs, friendly staff, great location near Barbican and the typical Smithfield Market Negative : Price GBP 169 unacceptable for the service and room quality »

« The place was wicked , really friendly n safe, staff were helpful n happy .. loved the space .. great discount on drinks as a guest .. Just was the old breakfast menu in the tools which you had at the sister hotel down the road .. was looking forwards to the full English but only continental available .. which to be fair was real nice .. just thought was worth a mention. .. would stay again for sure! »

« Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look.
