« Four of us (two adults and two grown kids) stayed for five nights over the holiday weekend. The location of this property right on the Duck/Southern Shores boundary was just great. Sunset views of the bay were great and the ocean was a short walk or drive away. The property was very clean. We are used to renting homes that are a little more lived in, so the lack of games and puzzles (and basic cooking necessities like salt and pepper) threw us a bit. « Everything was great! The level of cleanliness was top notch! Short walking distance to the beach and to get food. We loved that we were able to watch our favorite shows on Netflix. We even enjoyed the convenience of making our own breakfast and lunch. Being able to sit on the deck and watch the sunset was so relaxing. We will book this place again if it’s available when we decide to return! Thank You for being some welcoming to my family and I. »

« The house was located about a mile from Duck Village which was perfect. It also was super close to the pool and a decent walk to the beach. The cons were that the backyard was overrun with shrubs and weeds and therefore not useable for pets or small children. The deck is not in good shape and the railing is loose. It was not ideal for small children and everyone had to wear shoes at all times due to blisters. The AC was not working on day 1-3 but was eventually fixed. The dishwasher was broken...

« House was clean, spacious, kitchen was well stocked. The only thing we were missing- beach towels. Close proximity to the beach, we mostly walked (about 5-6 min), only when it was super hot we drove and parked at the public beach parking one block away. Would stay again. »

« Rooms were clean, host was very attentive provided tons of information when we arrived. Needed Maintenance to come and fix a sofa bed that we didn’t know. It was already broken and they came same day to fix it. »

« The house was clean and we loved the fact that every bedroom had its own bathroom. The location is great -- very near the beach. We were a bit disappointed at the limited number of pots, pans, knives, etc., but we made it work. The only other thing to be aware of is the noise from the highway in the master bedroom, particularly in the early morning. Earplugs were helpful. »

« Book this house! We had a fantastic time. The house has good vibes if you will. it was perfect for our family. Quiet neighborhood, great biking access, easy walk to beach, good size pool, hot hot tub. Easy contact with property management. Any issue we had (we didn’t have much at all) was quickly and efficiently addressed. Our whole family agreed we will be staying here again. We were talking about booking again before our trip was even halfway over. Hands down one of the best trips we’ve taken...

« The location was ideal. We loved walking in the quiet neighborhood. The house was so nice. We loved that some could stay up and play air hockey on the ground floor while others were sleeping or relaxing upstairs. We made some wonderful family memories. The kite light show at Jockey’s Ridge was awesome! »
