The yards are decorated in an English style plantings of many, beautiful perineals. Housed in a quiet residential area and walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. We would stay again. « I highly recommend staying here. It is a country setting, with well maintained, peaceful grounds. The rooms are comfortable and it is a restful atmosphere. There is easy access to the highway that allows you to head north and see the entire coastline of Door County. We would come back! »

« The Oaklawn definitely exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed several hours on the screen porch relaxing and watching the sunset. My room was beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed talking with the other couples who were staying there. I could not say enough about how pleased I was with the whole experience »

« We decided to stay in town during a day trip and they accepted our reservation last minute and greeted us. The home was beautiful, clean and the lake was private and quiet. Check out is noon so we were able to enjoy the amenities. We loved the use if their huge deck for sunbathing , kayaks and lily pad. Their breakfast of muffin quiche, baked goods, and other snacks was amazing. The hosts were fun and upbeat. We can’t wait to plan our next stay. »

« Everything about our stay was fantastic. Great breakfasts, cookies, so clean. Close to everything. Had a issue with grid on bedroom patio door and it was taken care of right away. Well worth it. Highly recommend The Chanticleer Oak cabin! »

« Nous avons été logés dans la chambre n°1 qui est très petite, sans placard ni TV, et qui était vraiment défraîchie, vieillote.. La salle de bains aussi était petite. L'hôtel est décrit comme un gîte luxueux ce qui n'était pas du tout le cas de notre chambre. Nous avons payé plus de 201 € pour une nuit (ce qui est bien supérieur au prix affiché dans la chambre...). C'est certainement le plus mauvais rapport qualité/prix que l'on peut trouver... La seule chose bien était le petit déjeuner. Si...
