« We had an amazing trip!! The cabin was exactly as we expected and the perfect stay for our family of 4. It was very well-kept in a peaceful, quiet area w/ amazing views. Owners had great communication throughout our stay. The hot tub and grill were also a huge plus!! Would highly recommend and will definitely plan another vacation here in the future. »

« The facility was unsafe and unsanitary. There was a clear mouse infestation, and the odor became unbearable. The lack of running water made the property unlivable. I contacted the host multiple times regarding the water issue, but nothing was done.Additionally, the oven did not work, there were no lights on the outside staircase leading to the bedroom, and there was no lock on the door, creating serious safety concerns. »

« The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. We were in the area to kayak the Kickapoo River and the cabin was close to where we launched (about 8 mins). It was cozy to relax in after 12.5 miles of kayaking. We enjoyed sitting outside, seeing wildlife including a deer, and hearing an owl at night. We plan to be back! »

« The owners were very responsive. The property was well kept and comfortable. Even with the owners living on site, there was no one bothering us. We didn’t do any outdoor activities on the property with all of the cabins being rather close together with no separation, but it was too hot to be outside anyway. »

« The campground is very well maintained. The people were polite and respectful. The cabin is very small but, accommodated our needs. There is a water tank that only holds 300 gallons. So, you will have to be mindful of your water usage. They provided a nice list that explains how much water is used for each activity. »

« We stayed at Eagle’s Nest from May 1–3 and had a very relaxing getaway overall. The cabin is in a remote-feeling location with beautiful views of the Mississippi River, which you can enjoy right from the hot tub—easily the highlight of our stay.
