« Perfect location for 2 people visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Staying this close made it easy to get to the park to see the latest eruption. The garden on site is beautiful. Some other reviews complained about not having hot water, the host clearly states it takes a while, so just give it time. And yes we saw a spider, took two seconds to remedy that. It's in the middle of a rainforest which is beautiful, but if you want to be in nature, you might just see nature. So don't let those...

« Jennifer was a great host and she upgraded my partner and I for our anniversary which was totally unnecessary but very much appreciated! The location is beautiful and very close to Volcano National Park. Had all the amenities you’d need for a weekend trip but it could’ve been a bit cleaner. The floors and surfaces were sticky and the shower curtain needed to be changed out. But other than that, we would 100% stay here again. »

« Was definitely as advertised. Beautiful location. Clean. Easy check-in and out. Only downside was the 15 point turn to get my truck into the parking lot since I was last in. I watched first out have to do the same thing in the morning. »

« We had a lovely stay. The property was gorgeous. Lovely gardens and outdoor spaces. Inside had everything we needed and was so beautifully put together. Made us feel at home, away from home. There was even fruit and eggs for sale at the fruit stand. The host was super easy to communicate with. »

« Only there has been a little confusion when after booking 2 units for 2 people, and paying a full price, I received suddenly a message that one of my 2 units was cancelled. It made me worried about how I could accommodate both of us. At the end my 2nd person got ill and couldn’t come, so I used the one unit Nane. »

« This is one of few stays that the actual houses is better than in the pictures . House locates on a hill with great ocean view and just 45 mins away from Volcano national park . Owner Ruth is very friendly and provides lots of things for guest, chargers, drinks , snacks and even a massager chair! Wish I can stay longer , definitely 10/10 stay! »

« There were definite highs and lows to this property. The rooms were very clean and there was great entertainment options (games available to play) and lots of beds, which is what we wanted. However, we really wanted the hot tub which this property advertised, but was clearly not being uproot or available for use. There was one line in the posting, that the water is not drinkable. I applaud that this property is so green, but it was somewhat inconvenient for utilizing water. The biggest complaint...

"Volcano Village Lodge est un petit Ă©tablissement bien placĂ©, proche du parc national Volcano. TrĂšs au calme au cƓur de la rain forest, nous avons passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour. Il dispose en plus d’un jacuzzi accessible facilement. Seules dĂ©ceptions de notre cĂŽtĂ© : lors de notre arrivĂ©e une trĂšs gentille dame nous a informĂ© que nous pouvions accĂ©der Ă  la rĂ©ception pour venir se reposer, prendre un cafĂ©, manger quelques snacks
 sauf qu’elle n’est jamais ouverte. Nous y sommes allĂ© Ă  plusieurs reprises (matin, aprĂšs midi), jamais personne. Ensuite le mĂ©nage des lodges mĂ©riterait d’ĂȘtre un peu plus soignĂ©, notamment dans les recoins, il y a pas mal d’insectes. Enfin, le petit dĂ©jeuner est dĂ©posĂ© dans le rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, la veille en chambre, ce qui limite la qualitĂ© des produits. "
